lol, I understand that you don't want hype to kill the game, but all you have to do is not listen to it.

Just let others hype it up and ruin the game for themselves.

When they're wasting their time posting about how lame they think the game is and how disappointed they are, you'll be enjoying a top notch game.

its not hype anymore when 1,000's are playing the game to death every day.  The already know its good.  Finally a game that surpasses COD4, CODWAW, and R2.  Far CRy is great as well.

But after COD4, its fast pace and just a shout out to the air ship night vision level. This game ran so smoothly as well it redefined a nex gen game.

But it does not excuse the millions of dollars and years its taking to make the game, Resistance came out with 2 games before KZ2?

I want to take part in the bate.

Just don't think about the game, I have no hype for Killzone 2, but the last few days before the game come out might be a long week trying to control the hype.

I got to hype for GTA IV and I was dissapointed.  

Hype or no hype. No matter what bad things that are said, I am still set on buying this game.

I'm pretty sure Killzone 2 will get at least an 8.5, probably a 9.0.

It's not going to be the next "COD4" or "Halo" (What have people ever seen in Halo anyway?), but it'll still be a great game. The hype is well deserved though, if anything it'll probably help the game cause there's really very little to fault with Killzone 2. I imagine it'll do as well as Resistance or Gears of War.

No matter what I will still be getting KZ2. I have already been sold just of the beta footage. The only thing that could hurt this game is bad voice acting since that is something that I can't forgive.

Also not listening to the hype doesn't improve a game either. I avoid all info and hype threads on GTA IV and that game may make it on my top 10 hated games to play list.

I really hope that over-hype doesn't hurst this game... nor should it affect any game!

Comment should be left until after we actually play the finished game, and should be judged like any other game. I hope anyway!

Agreed. It's been said before, but graphics don't equal gameplay. Crysis is amazing for it's visuals, as will KZ 2. But beyond that, there's nothing peicing this game together. Every setting has been done for FPS', so we can only hope someone perfects a story with great visuals to match (thinkg Half-Life+Crysis).
