bad enough the ps3 version has been delayed over a month, but now i read on gamespots main page that its being ported by EA??? oh god.. just gives everone another reason to get the 360/pc version.... stupid eaJamie_1987

Some games come out on 360 before the PS3 and vice versa...

Unreal Tournament 3 comes out for PS3 in November when 360 doesn't get it until Feburary...

Virtua Fighter 5 came out for PS3 in Feburary and it still isn't out for the 360 I believe...

Valve is known for delaying games over and over but when they put there products out on the market, it's always top notch and game of the year caliber...

Yes, EA is working on the development of this game. BUT...we're not talking about EA Sports here...we're talking about EA UK. These are 2 totally different development teams.

Think of it the same way Ubisoft had two different teams for Rainbow Six Vegas and Splinter Cell Double Agent. Ubi Shanghai made SC: DA and it sucked. Ubisoft Montreal made Rainbow Six Vegas and it ended up being really good.

Valve has promised that the game will run equally well on all the consoles.

Look at the review for DIRT. The extra development time led to a superior PS3 version...with a BETTER FRAME RATE!

I think the extra time is going to help this game out a whole lot. I wasn't that excited about this game before, but after I did some research on it, I am VERY excited. Enough so to warrant a pre-order.
