Alright http://microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0219693 these are the kinda same speakers i have although mine are the one generation before this which i can't find. My monitor is http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8439442&type=product&id=1183160137115 this one. and see the ps3 has only out output. which should be the three red white yellow cords. but you can't plug them to this monitor or the speakers together. the monitor only has VGA Input and DVI-D Input. the speakers only has the two plug-ins.

your computer speakers prolly have an 1/8" stereo connection, so you can got to radioshack and get a female 1/8" stereo adapter to female stereo RCA adapter/cord and that will allow you to plug your AV cables that the playstation has into your computer speakers

or you could use the AV output for sound only.. a set of multimedia speakers should come with the adapter you need and it will work.. like one of the cables on the right hand sight pictured at this link (http://www.comsiscomputer.com/prodimages/FS-5015CABLES.jpg ) this should allow you to have your speakers and monitor connected to the ps3 individually..
