PLZ HELP MY Ps3 IS DEAD!!!

OMG i went 2 play RFom and i turned ps3 on at the back and instantley the light was a faint green plz help ive tried pressing every thing on it

Okay, i've never heard of the yellow light before. I strongly suggest you call Sony on this one. Or if anyone else is familiar with the situation, you'd be in luck.

I did some searching (you'd be suprised what google can find you), and there are other threads related to the yellow light your talking about.:

Apparently, your system fan is broken and will need to be replaced (says another poster).

Not reading disk? It seems that the BD optical pickup head is locked due to a surge or something like that.

Even the products with best quality control has DOAs. There's no guarantee it won't happen, but just with a much much smaller chance.

dude i bet this doesnt help, but you could unplug your ps3 and beat your wife with it, then tell her to go in the kitchen and make you a steak!!! ;)

Well at least its not melting like the 360. Thats nice how it shuts off if the fan fails.

Try to save them on a USB flash drive or some other memory device

I got an immediate replacement from sony when they picked up my broken ps3 which waas a day after i made the call, they never returned the dvd that was stuck inside though :(
