I picked GTA IV even tho it was really kind of a toss up. The dumb story-line of MGS4 probably puts it behind GTA IV in my oppinion. But both are great games. Not 10's... But at least 9's.

Pardon me sir? Dumb? Just because you couldn't comprehend it doesn't make it dumb. While I agree there is a lot of backstory that helps you understand it, the story is pretty self sufficient for non Metal Gear fanatics.

Come on now, it's not as if MGS4 has the most intelligent game story in the world. Most of it is fairly cheesy and melodramatic. The majority of the writing is DTV quality.
MSG4 was a terrible game. The only plus about it was the customizable weapons and pretty good graphics. The story sounded like it was written by children and the idiots who write childrens TV shows. Out of your list, KZ2 is the best. Seeing as you reglected to include some of the better PS3 exclusives (such as Uncharted and the Resistance games)... well that's what I have to say about your choices.
No other option? Oh well, my choice was a toss up between LBP and MGS4. I chose MGS4 because of the punch it's story packed. Uncharted is also exceptional, and together these are my top three.

uncharted, valkyria chronicles or Madden 09, those ones on the list are pretty meh.

Not true at all...just madden is not one of the great games to come from EA in the past year (and there are several like the orange box, crysis, mirror's edge, dead space) but atleast choose one of the more improved sports games like...NHL

Actually I am a huge MGS fan. I have played and beaten all of them. Probably the most fun I have had playing a series ever. However, its not that I didn't understand the story. I just thought that it wasn't good. And the terrible parts were Kojima's futile attempts at humor (which most times ends up ruining the mood that the game was going for). And next time don't go throwing around statements that you have no basis for.

Looks like at least half you people have great taste! :) Kill Zone 2 is a CLOSE second for me, though. It was almost a toss up, actually.

Yeah I think a lot of people are just brain washed to vote for MGS because it is a MG. Kind of how Jason Veritek got voted to the all-star game last year. He sucked but was voted in without deserving it because of who he is and who he plays for. People should step back and really look at it without bias. And trust me, I'm not a MGS4 hater.
I would personally say Oblivion but I know a lot of people would disagree. You should of added an "other" option. But anyways from those I voted for KZ2.

Wow... a fan of Silent Hill and you are criticizing MGS4's story. I have played through most SH games and I am here to tell you those stories are WAY more bizarre and ridiculous. Everyone seems to think the writing is awful and sub par. It really is not. I mean if people didn't enjoy the story I guess thats fine, but to say it was awfully written and that it has little redeeming value in other areas as others apparently think, thats just ignorant. It won GOTY for a reason. Not trying to criticize any individual, just saying.
If I just think of exclusive titles to the PS3, it would depend on over all or single player, because single player it would be MGS4 all the way, but over all its KZ2 for me, as it has a good single player and great multi-player.
