Judging from your experience of the first game and the newly released demo and trailer for GOW 2 of the barbarian horse rider story/gameplay clip, does the God of War series have cheezy story lines???

I haven't played the God of War 2 Demo but I thought the first God of War was just pure class, storyline and all. By far the best game I played that year when it came out.

for a pure hack n slash game, GoW had an exceptionally good story. Can't speak for GoW2 though as I haven't played it

How can a story that uses Greek mythology as it's base be considered cheesy? God of War 1 is in a class all by itself....no question. They perfectly blended historical Greek Mythology with their own creation, being the character Kratos and his story. It is just purely Epic on all fronts. I cannot wait to see what GOW 2 brings to the table.

The story in the original was outstanding, and touching aswell. I can only imagine that the sequel will be the same. Theres no way that the story in the sequel will be disjointed or weird in anyway.

Devil May Cry has a cheesy story line. But of course the game or Dante don't take themself that seriously.

It has the greatest storyline ever. How many of you guys who have played God of War did not feel like a bad ass playing as Kratos?

I agree and I sure as hell felt like a bad ***.
