i bought couple of blue rays for me there is not enough of a difference between regular dvds and blue ray and hd-dvd to warrant me spending almost twice as much for a movie so i stopped buying them. im more about using the ps3 as a media hub and streaming my movies and music off my pc.
after watching blu rays ive gotten spoiled, can hardly watch a regular dvd anymore:roll:
Yep I agree with that,but don't you find it annoying that you can't use zoom feature on your HD tv+therefore have to view Blu rays in letterbox type view only?I find this most annoying after splashing out on my Sony Bravia HD,and only being able to watch the movies in such a narrow screen view.
I love my ps3. Blue Ray is frigging awesome on 1080p and so are the games. I can't wait to get Warhawk, and especially Lair(I don't care what reviewers are saying).
Gaming only for now. Until i get some blu-ray movies to play on it. I am not a really big "movie scene" person.0rin
I second that, I only have one blu-ray movie... so for me it's just gaming for now, someday I'll get more movies for it. However, I do play dvd's on it sometimes.
Mostly gaming, though I've watched Casino Royale a few times since it's like the best Bond ever. Too bad I can't rent Blu-Ray movies in my country, yet. In a few years, when PS3s and Blu-Ray players are more common I they will rent movies. Too bad HD-DVD lost. Too bad, too good :D
