not a bad start for a beta. I dont no wat a lot of people are so upset about its just a beta its not like the whole thing has been released yet its still a working tittle. anyways i think it looks amazing and it will be great once its finished just wait and see

Thats the thing though. I'm not being critical of its bug/ shortcomings since its not out of beta, Im just not interested in looking at people virtual avatars and chatting with them for any more then 5 minutes. Its not why I bought a ps3, and Im worried its going to become a big mess. If I wanted to do that, id sign on to Vside. (Home is basically a rip off of Vside as it is)

Keeping in mind that I've been in the closed beta since the beginning almost (like over a year ago), I've seen it progress from crap to it's current state. While it's definitely much better than it started, overall, it really doesn't do anything different. All the different locations are pretty much the same, and you still have very little customization choices. I REALLY can't believe they charge actual money for the items though, that's stupid as hell. I mean, why would I pay $5 for another home space that I'll rarely use? Or $.50 on a pair of virtual pants?? Just lame... Overall, it has a lot of potential, but it hasn't been tapped yet IMO.

This is the OPEN Beta. The Home beta has been around for more than a year, so this is not the start, this is more than a year of progress, and not much changed.

Well, as long as there's people actually willing to pay for stupid stuff, people will charge over stupid stuff.
So far it's pretty lame, a waste of 3 gigs of harddrive space. Of course making fun of the Twilight trailer and music video in the theater was pretty enjoyable. :lol:
Its a stability/stress test beta. They are focusing on those two things, not all the little features. Thus its very hard to generate any kind of opinion at the moment.
