POLL: Solid Snake or Big Boss

So who do you guys prefer? It's rly a tough choice for me since both of them are such amazing characters but I'm sure many of you have a favourite. It would be nice to know why as well. So go on tell me what you think!

Solid Snake, theres a reason why Snake beat him twice.

Solid Snake introduced the story to us, remember the days of first playing MGS, not knowing how complicated the story has now turned out to be. We've lived more memories through Solid Snake. I chose both, just because I think Big Boss is equally badass.SamcottsPSWii60

Wow, it took me a while to decide but I'd say Solid Snake. He's the coolest character ever.

It was Solid Snake that started it all, the story revolves around him. If it weren't for him, there wouldn't even be Metal Gear as we know it today and as fans we should to be thankful to such a legend.

Big Boss doesn't even come close to Snake in Charisma or being more bad ass. Snake's raised more hell than Bigg Boss ever did prior to MGS-4.

Come on, he slayed Gray Fox, the only guy worthy of having the name 'Fox' in Foxhound. Solid Snake toyed with Raiden like a bully in MGS-2 and THE BOSS was killed by THE BIG BOSS but who killed BIG BOSS ? Solid Snake !!

The prequel (i.e) MGS-3 was only done to open up the story more.

As for Snake being genetically engineered, and after having beat MGS-4, you only feel sad for the man.

Metal Gear revolves/d around Solid Snake, he's the man and the ultimate. :D

solid snake hands down cos he actually defeated big boss in the original metal gear 2:solid snake. but big boss was more of a tough guy i think. in snake eater he constantly took a pounding and when he got tortured he was proper cut up and lost an eye. i could never imagine solid snake being tortured and cut up they way big boss was in snake eaterash892005

yea but big boss wet himself during the torture, and solid snake was tortured by ocelot in metal gear solid and held his nerve a little better, although big boss's torture seemed more brutal than snakes.

Bigboss!!! Remember the end of mgs4? come on solid snake did not stand a chance he was lucky bigboss wasnt all pissed of about metal gear 1&2 and didnt kicked his ass!

The Boss, she was the wisest of them all. It started with her and her ideologies. Big Boss and Zero simply tried to realize her will.

I think a lot of people would pick The Boss if a game was made to tell her story.
