So I am a fan of Tekken, more then of Street Fighter, and I am anticipating Tekken 6. But what I am wondering is about everyone else here. Tekken 6 or Street Fighter IV? I put a 'both' option there because on polls alot of people ask for it, but which one are you looking forward to the most?
I played Street Fighter 2 on SNES back in the day. But Tekken Tag was my first game (along with Timesplitters) for PS2. Since then its been all Tekken. 3d is just better imo.
I've always been a Tekken man! loved tekken on the PS2, loved tekken:DR on the PSP (It honestly looks almost as good as the ps2 game, its amazing). So I'm definitely anticipating Tekken 6 more than SFIV. I was actually planning on getting SFIV day one, but i don't think I will anymore, I don't really have a reason why other than too many other games to play. I might eventually get it but we will see.
Ive hated tekken since the original.. Ive tried to like it multiple occasions, but i feel that it is one of the worst fighting games ever. SF4 is way more my style.. more fluid, faster, and a lot more exciting. Ive got my preorder for SF4 collecors edition and the TE fightstick.. cant wait till mid feb!

street fighter 4 all the way, i have fond memories of pretty much every street fighter game especially 2 and sf4 will be awesome. I haven't liked Tekken since Tekken 3, the characters were never that interesting to me.
Tekken. I have always thought that SF's gameplay was vastly inferior to Tekken's gameplay. ReaperV7
:lol::lol: Oh man, vastly inferior? I respect your opinion and all but are you serious? One the most recognized MMA games against tekken? Where's the competition? I liked Tekken up until TTT and from then on I avoided it, I've always loved SF.

Well, The King of Fighters XII is hitting Japanese arcades in April. Will it hit consoles this year? Who knows. The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match is coming stateside to the PS2 in March. KoF 2002 Unlimited Match is hitting the PS2 in Japan sometime soon I believe too. Then there's Blazblue by Arc System Works (Guilty Gear series). It hit arcades in Japan and the US this past November; so a console release later this year is possible.
