POLL test , do you have both xbox 360 and ps3

im carrying this out fora day , and maybe more ,

but just to see what people have and what console they prefer

PS3 360 Wii. Which do I prefer? Guess it depends on my mood.

I have both and enjoy them equally. Just wish that psn would put up some good old school ps1 games lke ff7 and re1 for starters!

I have a 360 and a PS3, but I only have a 360 because my brother got me one for my birthday, otherwise I probably woudn't have ever bought one. I only own 4 games for it, and I don't bother with XBLA.

As for the Wii, I don't see why wafting your hands about is more fun than pushing a button, the moment they do something groundbreaking for it I will get one (and by groundbreaking I don't mean any of this non-game stuff that nintendo seem to be transfixed with e.g. WiiFit, Brain Training)

Don't get my wrong, MotorStorm is really fun to play; however, without Achievements, I almost feel as if I'm wasting my time playing games for nothing. ChickenHawk07

Yeah, I don't get it. Sure, it's nice to get an achievement every once in a while, but isn't the whole point of playing games to enjoy yourself? Do you really need the game totell you did something well?

I have both i can't afford to lose out on any good games both systems look very promising

Just a PS3. Because the 360 only has three games that actually interest me(Fable 2, Dead Rising, Saints Row).

While the PS3 games that interest me are Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, L.A. Noire, the new R* franchise, Lair, Final Fantasy XIII, Metal Gear Solid 4, Shirokishi Monogatari(White Knight Story in english), and more.

both, so most of the jrpgs aren't missed :)

Well, like I stated, Motorstorm is FUN to play and I enjoy it. But I feel I'm wasting my time without something to show for my 'achievements' in the game. Microsoft has revolutionized the gaming industry with Achievements and I for one am HOOKED. Notice how Sony is going to start introducing 'Trophies' and later an Achievement style reward for their games. I don't know if you're heard the phrase but, "Copying is the greatest form of flattery", comes to mind.

I think his poll satisfies the question adequately. I mean, it's either "YES, I have both." Or "NO, I have one or the other" Doesn't really matter which one of the two they own, even if this is a PS3 Forum.

i own both, but as prefering one over the other in general i do not, only in certian aspects. like for FPS games i prefer the 360 elite hands down. but for other types of games i might like my ps3 better, as for silent hill 5 and resident evil 5, i will prolly get them on the ps3. unless they went closer to the shooter genre then i will get them on 360. but there are some multiplatform shooters ill get ont theps3, as well as other games ill get on the 360, ill get it on which ever one appeals to me more..

both are wonderful systems, its true the ps3 is more durable... but the 360 elite is having no problems whatso ever, (mine) and the 360 is focused more on the games this year... but next year the ps3 will really start to gain momentum if everything goes right..

so owning both elite and ps3, i will have no shortage of games this generation on either side.

I think you'll find imitation is the woird not copying, whilst the saying remains the same it's far more elegant to use it correctly.

Not bothering with the Wii until it gets some good games that are not the usual Mario & co.

bought both. currently playing the hell out of my ps3 (rv6 & AC4). gave the 360 to my brother since hes goin to a different college than me. sides, he likes the 360 type of games. im more pro rpg :D. and i wreck him in halo.
