lol! I was thinking the same thing but I figured that maybe the TC is going for shooters with story modes. Socom will have most of my attention out of the rest of these shooters.

resistance 2...I have seen the gameplay video in sony's e3 and it looks amazing..I have also downloaded the resistance 1 demo from the psn store yesterday and I couldent stop playing it..it was incredible..resistance 2 is the only reason I'm not buying resistance 1michelle341

I don't know about that one. If I would have never picked up R:FOM, I do not think I would be this hyped for R2. Not playing it won't hurt the story but it won't help. This is a game that shouldn't be missed.

Fallout 3 isn't even a shooter. The person that created this list isn't even a real gamer.

can you count RE5 and fallout:3 as shooters? i mean they dont fit in with the other choices.

RE5 = survival horror

fallout:3 = rpg/ light shooter

It's really hard to say. Here's my conundrum.

Resistance 2

I absolutely loved Resistance 1. I played for hours on co-op with my friends, and as well, the game itself was very polished and entertaining throughout.

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 4 kicked a**, and I'm sure this game will be even better, but I'm not so sure about co-op for this game yet. I may have forgotten, but if this game has offline co-op as well, then it will be even harder to choose between these two games.

Exactly, neither are shooters, Fallout 3 isn't even a "light shooter" it is a sandbox RPG.

? all i have seen in game-play is gun fire ? You can manually aim, and i pray to god you cant always use that targeting thing (easy?). its the only game im hyped for anyway, KZ2 and R2 both look to generic.

EDIT : i did some research (why i hadn't already i don't know, fallout looks stunning), and while its not a heavy shooter, i would still call it a shooter/RPG. it doesn't look like there making the shooting a poor option.

Off this list, I'll go with RE5.

killzone 2...and far cry 2...

Not many people seem to be going for Resident Evil 5. Most popular is Killzone 2 and Resistance 2.Bioshockraptor

The only reason I chose R2 over RE5 is because R2 is closer.;)

Fallout 3 would win if it was a shooter. I refuse to accept it as such since to me, it's only an RPG with first-person shooting elements.

For me, Resistance 2 takes the take but Killzone 2 will also be fun.

I am also very hyped for Resident Evil 5, but even though it's far from survival horror... it's still classified as such. So in theory it's not a true shooter.

I was never a fan of Farcry, story bored me and gameplay was repetitive.

Resident Evil is more of an action/adventure game than a shooter, but I'm still pissed that it has so few votes. :x

Nope, it's not you, but FarCry blows every other FPS out there. Once I saw it on Gamespot's E3 Coverage, I was sold.

I know...the size and content just puts all the others to shame. Not to mention that it's graphics rival Crysis...pyromaniac223
