Just curious what people's preference is, written or video reviews?
I personally like to read the reviews. I feel like there is less spoilers than with visuals and it just feels more official.

Yeah i perfer video reviews now because i can just never be bothered reading the reviews anymore.
But i will read the pros and cons bit.
Overall I prefer written reviews for their more in-depth description, but I like video reviews alot, too.
But yeahh, I find video reviews are far more inclined to show spoilers or exciting events in a game that I'd rather experience myself for the first time I see it. (eg. Gametrailers review of Uncharted 2 showed off way too much of some ofthe games biggest scenes)
Written gets down to every last detail while video reviews are quik and to the point. It really depends on the game, if it something I really want I will read it but if it is a game I dont really care about but is hyped I will watch the video review.wooooodeThis pretty much
Depends.
If I'm still doubtful on getting the game, I read and watch.
If I already decided to get the game prior to it's release, written.
If I really really liked the game prior to it's release (usually a sequel), the none. I don't to get spoiled. I bought the latest Ratchet and Clank without checking any reviews of it. :)
Question wasn't WHOSE reviews, it was what type. In this case, do you like making video reviews or written?I like my own reviews.

Video, definitely. Video games are a visual medium, so it makes much more sense to actually SEE what the game is like. I get a lot more information from watching video of the gameplay than I do from 1,000 words of some guy giving his opinion - which may be completely different from mine.

OMG! Yeah they ruined half the jokes, that part where the train car flips over and Flyn turning on you GRRR!
I usually watch video reviews because I'm lazy but written ones are almost always better except for seeing the game-play in action.
Written. You get more detail out of it and it's not as hard as some people think. Plus there's no cutscenes that are showed off in the writing or any spoilers.
