(poll) whose ps3 broke?

I bought my ps3 at launch and just last week while playing MGS4, it completely stopped reading bluray discs! I want to know are there any other people that has had their ps3 unable to read discs?

Im not a troll, im a cow who loves he ps3 and is extrememly unhappy that my ps3 broke and has no choice but to pay 150 bucks to fix it even though i have found this happening to many many others!

this problem is not our fault. It has happened to people with launch ps3 and even brand new ps3s! sony should fix this problem for free! Or extend our warrantees. Its not fair!

(EDIT) look at the results...just want to piont out the the industry average besides the 360 is between 3-5% and ours is at 9% right now (i know its only 150 votes but still..)

unfortunately im in the minority (60 gig launch)

it still plays the disc, but after 30 minutes, it freezes with EVERY SINGLE GAME.

that $150 figure is pissing me off

anybody know the turnaround time for fixing the PS3s?

There have been reports on the internet about some YLoD (Yellow Light of Death). But my PS3 is working fine.Jyakotu

That happened to my last PS3, and it sucked bad. :evil: The system wouldn't even turn on. But now I have a used one directly from Sony, and fortunately I haven't had any problems since. :)

I didn't know the PS3 even had a yellow light.... until I saw it in person. :cry:
