i bought this game in gamestop for only 10 bucks and i must say it is AMAZING, probaly my second favorite rpg for psp and i have ALOT of psp games (24) so dont think i only have 2 lol, but why doesnt that many people like it?

its not a very deep RPG imo. i want the epic 60+ hour rpg. this game only lasted me 12 hours or so.Journey89

Strange, it took me over 20 hours to get halfway! It felt really 'epic' for me
I loved it too, but the battle system/action is very repetitive & slow..
but the story, going deeper with each story. Its kind of a buildungsstory with a lot of warmth.
You just have to get yourself throug the first half hour.

I would rate it at the same height as the FF1 remake but still behind Tales of Eternia.
I still have Breath of Fire III & Legend of Heroes ready to play.. i tried LoH for a while, but
didnt really like it that much (yet).

Popolocrois rules dudes. I rented this game when i had my first PSP (it got stollen, awwww, LOL) and now that i have my second PSP and didint rented the game, i bought it, i payed 17 bucks for it though, that was when not even gamestop had it, before this $10.00 offer it was some what of an obscure game.

The game is awesom. Nice, wierd style of its own for the characters and those cool animatd cutsceens sorta make u keep playing right when ur about to put the game down for a leg strech, LOL.

i was shocked to see Popolocrois for the Gamestop special at $10 a pop.  That game is hard to find period.  All of a sudden they appear out of no where with half the price.  I snatched that faster than a monkey on a cupcake. 

This title needs more recognition than any other RPGs on the PSP currently.  The history of this game is very strong back in the early PS2 days in Japan.  When i heard they were releasing this on the PSP i was stoked. 

glad you liked it the more reason for me to justify my purchase, I haven't opened it though because I have too many games to play with so little time... I also got their other games on sale because $10 isn't that much imagine buying a new game like ratchet for $40 when you can get 3-4 games for that price because of the sale.

And also all random battles get tedious even in FF series because sometimes you just want to explore an area but can't because battles pop in.

This game is fantastic. Soooo much fun, im totally addicted!!!! And that is coming from someone who generally CANT STAND JRPG's so yah you need to get this game. Way way underrated!!grimhope

It's a very basic story.  If you aren't into old-school rpgs then you obviously wouldn't like it.  From the looks of your comments, stick to your FF titles ;)

Also, is it just me, or does anyone else think that Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermillion was extremely overlooked. In my opinion it's an awesome rpg..p00zer

Because of many ppl saying this on forums, i bought LoH1, despite the bad ratings. Well, i played for like 15 mins and nothing, NOTHING interesting happened. A story about a brother missing his sister en being grumpy about it.. a wierdo kid playing hide & seek with you. I wasnt interested at all. Also, the translation is quite bad. Nevertheless i might pick it up later and try to complete it anyhow... perhaps it needs some more time invested into it.

Agreed, FF1 is a classic game.

I like psp rpgs, one of my favorites is "Brave Story" which is a JRPG, you will need to import this. Worth it. =D AznTakumi
