mine arent worth mentioning much. the worst was a 5 foot drop onto a cement floor but my fiends was incredibly funny. it happened at school he was running with his brand new psp slim in his pocket he was holding it so it wouldnt fall out but when he stopped he let go and it flew at least 10 yards and hit the pavment, the battery case flew one direction maybe 15 feet and the battery itself got flung under a bus! luckily the bus was stationary anyways when he put it back together at first it wouldnt turn on and he told me it turned on when he got on the bus and was louder which is weird. so i now kno slims are very durable.
The worse would have to be when I left it on the radiator, the plastic case I bought fused to certain parts of the PSP so it's stuck on forever..however, it functions fine, once I used a knife to cut along the edge of the UMD tray so I can put UMDs in.
I would have to say mine is about 2 months ago, I was pulling something out of my roommates truck and had my slim in its case in my hand and felt all the sudden the case got empty.. i was about 4 feet from the ground from the concrete drive-way it got a small scratch on the top let of the face plate, and a big ugly on the top left of the screen..the battery cover popped off and the batter pack came out, the UMD game came out as well... I put everything back in its place, and it PERFECTLY just as new.. and after all the I had to pick it up off the ground and the screen was facing down.. and coincidentally not 1 scratch on the screen
I was running up the stairs with my slim (half playing and half running...not a good idea)and I slipped on a corner stair (it turns in my stairs) and my slim hit the wall and the battery fell out. My slim was ok tho.
Mine faceplanted onto a somewhat sandy, rocky, school floor. Okay, I guess not rocky, but little bits and chips and crap were on the floor. The screen is horribly scratched, and I just can't play it anymore.I just, can't.
i was at the movie theatre taking my sweatshirt off while going pee, and it was in the little pocekt in the front and it dropped straight into the toilet like 5 feet, the battery cover fell off and i just had flushed it i was like f**k!!
I was deliberately punching my PSP in frustration, since Madden 07 kept freezing. So my wireless router broke, leaving my PSP Online-less. I lost my waranty, too. And I never opened my PSP, so when you shake it, you can hear stuff shaking.
The PSP itself survived, yet I don't consider it like that. :(
hmm not much has happened to mine and hopefully it wont. Worst thing so far is probablys my kitten knocking it on the floor whilst it was charging was small drop and carpeted floor though so nothing bad at all lol
A good title for this board would be "PSP DARWIN AWARDS"
I got Two things:
1-Mine fell out of pocket skiing, I didn't notice, but luckily my friend, who was 30 meters behind me, found it. He was excited till I showed him all my stuff on it.
2-Earlier, my psp got dropped 5 feet onto a steel landscaping edge. I have a V-shaped chip taken out of the sid by the analog stick whick goes ALMOST through the outer case. Oops.
i was sitting on a table playin the warriors, with my psp connect to the adapter. my brother just step on the cable accidentally and pull the psp off my hands. i cant understand how but although the battery flew to the other side of the room the psp was still on and running the UMD. is that weird?
mine fell from 5 feet on to a driveway and lived but there are chips on the sides. a short visable scratch and square button is slanted. Im thinking about getting a slim after that.
