Ok, i am VERY interested in buying a ps3. The exclusive games, the blu ray, the free online play.

All this seems like a pretty decent package. But many of my friends, (one ahs a ps3) say that it is terrible, and there is no need for it.

I dont know if the ps3 is actually THAT bad. So im posting this topic to see what ACTUAL ps3 owners say aobut it.

Any help would be greatly apreaciated.

Thanks.

I love my ps3 i wouldnt have 31 ps3 games for it. It is really reliable, great free online, added trophy support, and great exclusives and highly anticipated sequels to games from the ps3 are comign like jak 4.

Did your friends specify why they think it is so terrible? I have no problems with my PS3 (60GB since launch) and use it for games, watching movies and chatting online. The online play is just fine for me, and the games that are out for it are spectacular. I suppose it all really depends on your preference for exclusive games, and whether your friends have the console you want (supposing you want to play with them online for certain games). I kept my PS3 for stability (I've gone through 9 X360s while I still have my original PS3 -- your mileage may vary), the fact that many of my friends and relatives have a PS3 and the games that come out for that system. If you feel that the 360 may give you more bang for your buck in those respects (as well as others that I haven't mentioned), then by all means get that system. Whatever you think is the best investment for you is usually the right choice. Good luck with your future system.
