Price Cut and no blu-ray

Rumor has it that the PS3 is going to have a price cut of 100$ and maybe slash the blu-ray in April or the next few months.

Look a price-cut is INCREDIBLY possible but no blu-ray?

PS3 wouldn't even be able to run it's own games.....

How could they get rid of Blu-ray? That would mean that some games wouldn't even be playable

Not only would eliminating blu ray make it impossible to play most of the PS3's library, but it would also get rid of one of the main features of the PS3 (blu ray player)

Nobody would be stupid enough to buy a PS3 that can't run any games... They'd buy a 360 instead just like you said...

price cut does make since its the get rid of the blu ray part. that means it doesnt play any ps3 games. so its basicaly a ps2 if it even has a DVD drive.....

this has to be a joke thread right? nobody could take that ''rumour'' seriously
