it'll most likely be a 40 gig model for 399( the one I want)Miles0T0Prower
Hopefully.
I'm not spending more than $400 on a PS3 as much as I want the games on it. Sony needs to get their act straight and realize that they're not the king anymore. They expected everyone to buy it just because it had Playstation on it, and it failed.
I want Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII. I'm kind of worried that by the time those games come out it wont even be price dropped just because their the equivalent to Kanye West.

It will more than likely be another SKU, therefore really eliminating most of its potential effect on the market, people don't want tard packs...why cant Sony and MS see this.TheSystemLord1
Haha, tard packs. It's true, the 20 gig didn't do well at all and now they're REPEATING their mistake????
As for hte price drop, there have been heavy rumours of the 80 gig droping to 499 and a new 40 gig coming for 399. Problem is, Sony STILL doesn't have the games to convince consumers to purchase the console. If I were them, I'd at least go out to the indie dev scene and buy about thirty games for PSN...

Might be a problem this holiday season. (Though a price drop to $400 should help with this)
Won't be a problem in the first quarter of 2008.

Not necessarily. Games/Apps are starting to come out in bunches for PS3 so it won't as bad as people think. I agree though next year will be PS3's time but end of this year will be good too.
Exclusives:
Folklore, Home and R&C in Oct.
Haze, UT III, TC4, Uncharted in Nov.
I am not going to mention the great non-exclusives because this is for purely PS3 but those will be awesome too. [COD4 and Assasain's]

Whoops. That's my bad. I had assumed those games were coming in 2008.

Some will say games are the most important feature. But at the end of the day, I say this one wins out. (for me at least)
