Im a real big pro evo fan ( i basically bought ps3 so to wait for the new pro) .. but im gettin im patient . just wonderin are there ANY differences between pro 08 on ps2 an ps3? like graphics? or maybe updated transfers etc?

Many real football players play FIFA themselves and the majority of people choose FIFA because they know it has more realistic gameplay with better teams, online, controlls, just about everything! Konami had to copy FIFA's Be a Pro mode

Many people get Fifa because they are after the graphics and the licensed teams. As for gameplay, PES is the best. The pace in Fifa is all wrong, and there is something about it that just feels slugish, but not with PES.janti_hakouz

Yes I dislike Arcade style which is why I don't like PES. I prefer realisticness which is why I get FIFA

It even comes from a magazine that gave FIFA 08 a 6/10. EA really listened to us fans about improvements

Yes I have and as I said before I do not like its arcady style and I didn't bother getting PES 08 because I heard it was crap.

fifa is commercial, hence its high reviews and big sales, not to mention EA has a monopoly on fifa rights, pro evo is for the true hardcore footballer, and do your research before making claims that pre evo stole fifa's pro mode, pro evo invented that many years ago when it was still on the ps1... fifa is a dumbed down pro evo, and has only been getting higher reviews since trying to be more like pro evoknowledge83

A game gets high reviews because of the way it plays and don't make such a lame excuse for PES having much less fans then FIFA and NO Pro Evo is not a true hardcore football game what the heck would make you say that when its arcady?

The only reason someone would get FIFA is to get nicer graphics and more franchises. FIFAs gameplay sucks in ways that I have never believed possible. PES, holds a much more realistic gameplay. The AI in Pro learns your patterns not letting you repeat plays, there is almost 0 exploitable glitches, unlike FIFA and the players feel real, while FIFA players seem to be using Super Glue on their shoes. Ive never missed a pass, or forwarded the ball when advancing in FIFA, but in PES if I dont think it well, Ive missed more than one, and lost many balls for not controlling the ball properly.

All in all, FIFA is for noobs, and trend goers. FIFA is the late years KISS while PES is the early years KISS.

Really, if Konami would buy the franchises, and not stay cheap as they are, FIFA would have already been killed a long time ago. I whis 2k made a football game, we could see something amazing. EA sucks at making sports games. The last FIFA I liked was 95 on the Genesis, and mostly because you could tap A+B to do the high kick fault

No nice graphics and Franchises is just some of the reasons to get FIFA but the #1 reason is the gameplay that it has just go ask FIFA fans out there and ask what they prefer from FIFA and you'll get your answer. Also in FIFA 08 you didn't miss a pass because you were using Assisted controlls, just switch it to Manual and your problem is solved. Do you even have FIFA because any player who has it knows that you can use Assisted or Manual.

PES will never reign over FIFA because it is for noobs and a game with arcady gameplay which no football lover likes.

I always buy fifa and pro. Normally I prefer Pro's gameplay but I tend to play fifa more due to its managers mode. However, in the 08 version, fifa had gameplay covered aswell. Pro 08 on the next gen console was awful, it just didnt feel right.

Hopefully Pro will regain its title in 09
