Pro evolution soccer 2010

I have read some information about thisfootball game, which is set for release later this year. But will Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 be any better than previous installments?Konami have struggled over the years to match EA with FIFA and this time I doubt will be any different. The latest news is that the graphics are going to be majorly improved upon all consoles. But wasn't that said last year and so on before that. However I will still buy it.

Anyway if anyone is going to get this game, like me, what are your thoughts and hopes.

I read an article about the game, in the Oficial PS3 megazine of Portugal (my country), that Konami will be giving a lot of news things in PES 2010 :)

I just hope it is true, I was abig fan of the franchise in the PS2, but in PS3 it been giving me a few letdowns

Same here. PRO EVO 08 was horrible but then 09 was a bit better.

Same here. PRO EVO 08 was horrible but then 09 was a bit better.

yeah PES 08 was horrible, that's way I didn't risk to buy 09 and bought Fifa 09

i am getting this coz i always did that

i have pes2008 and pes 2009

i got pes 09 and played fifa 09 altho fifa has improved ALOT....pro evo is still better. only problem with pes 09 is online sucks, and it so glitchy, slow and unresponsive at times... pes09 offline has a few faults, but overall is still easily the bets footy game around. take it from someone who has been playing since it was called 'international superstar soccer' on snes....played all the ps/ps2 versions.... pes 2010 should be worth it.Leathaface99

Yeah, me too. I always got Pro Evo over any other football game, even though FIFA is technically better.

I'm hoping that PES 2010 will have a better engine and better graphics. Their last few generations have been quite a letdown for me.

Suposedly the reason Fifa was so much better this year was because of the online play, personally I think it's rubbish and absolutely hate it. If PES get decent online play I won't be buying Fifa again as the online play is far too flawed.....you get beaten due to horrible AI, lag, player highlighting...all in all and awful game!

PES will no doubt be bastly improved this year, looking forward to playing a decent football game for once!
