Problem getting online with PS3.

Hey guys, i just got a PS3 and i picked up Guitar Hero Aerosmith, MGS4 (bundled), and Resistance 2. I played through the single player campaign with resistance and i just got a wireless setup and wanted to play online. Thing is to get online you need to install some update (i think it was 1.2, whichever one you need to sign in PSN in game) and for some reason it gets to like 10% or 6% or some random number and then it just stops. Got any ideas as to why this is happening?crazyguy92

I think he refers that when there's a new update and you try to sign in, it tells you to d/l the new update. And his d/l stops at 10%

BTW, TC. you can d/l the updates from the Internet to an USB flash and insert it to your PS3 and update it that way.GreenGoblin2099

oh sorry if i was unclear. The problem is downloading the patch to be able to get online online lol (if that makes any sense).

idk if it's a new update, but i need it to play online. but where do i d/l the update from the internet?

I think he means an R1 patch; 1.2^

If he means the PS3 firmware, then he can go here.

Can't download it fromt he net, you have to do it through your console.
