When ever I go to play friendly matches it freezes during the refreshing. Anyone know what is causing it?
You're Internet connection sucks. Either that or there is a bug. Maybe deleting then re installing it will fix the bugs? But just test you're connection i'm 80% sure thats the problem.

MvC2 was finished when they released the demo. They didn't rush anything. It's been done for months now, they were just messing with us.
