At the final stage i think it said that the network couldn't be accessed or something and it sent me right back to the first step of the sign-up process. I could update the console just fine which means i'm connected to the internet properly at least (via wireless)

Anyone else share a similar experience?

Haven't tried it right now, but yeah, sometimes my PSN seems to act up.

Tried signing up again with the same unfortunate result. This is the error message i get:

"A connection to the server could not be established"

Then there was a eight digit number i'm not sure i can post. Could be a error number or sensitive info specific for my machine. No idea, perhaps you guys know.

Any of this lead any of you to assume something regarding what might be wrong? Network status is 100% ok.

Signed up via playstation.com instead and then signed in. Worked like a charm. Strange.
