Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone else was having trouble with their PS3's when they turn it on or enter or quit a game? because when I do that My PS3 occasionally locks up and I have to turn it off with the switch on the back. And it is happening more and more! Can you guys help me?
My friend had that same problem with his 60GB PS3, I'm not sure what he has done about it but you might wanna check it out. However I have a 40GB and have had no problem with it since I bought it back in August.
I have that problem with my 60gig from time to time. Mine is usually caused by force quitting an app. Mine sometimes freezes up when I quit out of the internet browser. Are you quitting the game first, then selecting the system shutdown option?
Thanks guys for the info, but it happens randomly, not after I do something like quiting the game then shutting down, although that might have something to do with it :P
is your ps3 locking up completely and regulary whilst playing games?
because it may be your bluray drive, the same thing happend to me, id play a game for 10mins then the game would freeze and i would be unable to turn off the system the green light would keep blinking, is this whats happening? if so call sony
