I bought a Ps3 at launch, it isa 20gb model. I havent bought any games except oblivion since launch and everything seemed ok when playing oblivion. Long story short i wanted some games for my ps3 so i bought uncharted and AC but when i play these games i see alot of graphical glitches it looks like the screen is dividing in the middle when you are looking around. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my system. any help is appreciated

I hate to say it but you can't help the page tearing. not only that but now you have seen it it's kind of hard to ignore. It's like you eye gets drawn to it.I never noticed it until Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Now i've seen it in Heavenly sword, assassins creed, warhawk and i noticed it oncevery slightly in resistance. I read in an IGN review of uncharted that it has slight page tearing. I think it's time Devs put a V-sync option in games withpage tearing. It just bugs some people (more than others it seems though thats why you'll get the odd "god some people are soooo finicky").

I definitely dont want to see it if its worse than AC :) I really love my playstation it has taken over as my system of choice while my xbox gathers dust but i might have to dust it off if i keep seeing things like this. I never noticed it while playing 360, what is the difference is it just the way they develop the games?
