problems with Orange Box: Team Fortress 2

I just purchased the orange box, and the game is amazing. I have read all the reviews on it and I only noticed a a bit of lag at certain points.

I am having troubles with getting online with Team Fortress 2. When I enter the game, a screen pops up "conecting to EA online", it never lets me connect. I fixed it by creating a new PS3 online ID. With the new PS online ID I was able to get to a server and play. Why I had to create a new ID, I do not know. I was wondering if any of you had this problem? I was going to return the game and get another copy so I can use my original ID, but I am not sure if it is something wrong with the disk or what. If that does not work I might try calling sony, Valve or EA. It might return it and purchase Warhawk or Resistance.

Any suggestions! What should I do.

A friend of mine said he has the same issue. I'd say check Valve or EA forums, google, call them up or just live with it.

As for trading it in, if you're done with the Half-Life stuff, why not, but IMO the Orange Box is the perfect package and I wouldn't part with it for any other game.

It worked. U need to set up an EA online account. I down loaded burnout paradise. BP makes u set one up in order to go online. After that I was able to get online to TF2 with my original online ID.
