Prototype 2 good game?

Hey guys I was wondering how Prototype 2 was. I don't want to use the recomedation thread. I never get a response and it takes forever. Comment if you want to comment about the game. Please don't say use recommendation thread. Thank you I will move on now. :P I was wanting to hear from people that have acutally played the game. Is it good and fun. I really want to buy it but I am not sure. I have heard mixed reviews.:? Thanks for all of the answers. You guys are the best. :D

Recommendation thread was removed months ago buddy. I loved Prototype 1 and I really liked Alex Mercer, when I heard they're changing him I decided to wait for a price drop for Prototype 2. However, I heard from many people that it was underwhelming compared to 1. It's a shame, as I thought the first one did many things right and simply needed few tweeks here and there.

Thank God they removed that recommendation thread. I haven't posted in forever. That was the dumbest thing ever. I stopped posting on here because of that stupid thread.

the game is amazing

I haven't finished it yet, but so far it's great! At first I didn't get the vibe I wanted from the game because of some repetitive missions early on, but the graphics are greatly improved over the first game, and the gameplay is very fun and gory. Worth getting. :)

It's simply a repretition of first with pretty graphics..... its not bad but i would not recommend it....

An awesome game!! It's going to be way better, a true sequel.

Not sure who you heard that from, but it's completely wrong. Prototype 2 is a huge improvement compared to the original, which I disliked.

Only played Prototype 1 and the game was one of the most repetitive games I ever had the (un)pleasure to play. Prototype 2 looks the same to me from the footage I saw so I'm not interested. The game makes you feel powerfull in the beginning and its really fun to travel within the city but once the novelty worns off, its a really boring game to play. Prototype 2 looks the very same but with a worse character to play with. Heller seemed to me a very unlikeable character from what I saw (not that Mercer was any better btw)

InFamous is the better franchise between the two without a f*ckin doubt
