Do not focus on what the numbers are...focus on what is written that is always most important. But i do trust ign's reviews in general more even if they normally over or under rate a game but in the correct direction

EDIT: i also trust IGN more than the links the TC gave... I usually like to read reviews on Gamespot and IGN because usually Gamespot is pretty harsh and brings the flaws to light(which is really always good to know beforehand) and IGN takes a more "it's flawed but i still love it because..." approach. For IGN to focus on the negative so much really strikes me
I have both this and Infamous cant tell which is better because i haven't played enough Prototype yet. It is alot of fun but the graphics are the worst i have seen in a long time.

well those 9's....look at the review sites. one of them has NEVER been relevant. the other hasn't been relevant since the turn of the century. literally. neither has trusted reviews.

I read IGN's review, and a 7.5 sounds generous compared to how harsh the actual review is. I'm glad I ordered inFamous a few days ago and didn't wait for this. I never thought it looked anything above average.

Ok, good I thought the same thing. The way the author was talking about the game, it was like he was going to give it a 6.0 or something. But it's an honest review, the author is not on the IGN PlayStation team and not the guy who reviewed inFamous and apparently they're definitely not the same game, not just quality :P
i got this game last nite. the game is exactly how i expected. Alex Mercer is brutal as, cut, morph,hack, slash, consume. and absolutely destroy everything infront of you. this game is the brutal version of infamous. it makes Cole from infamous looks like baby.
