so I was playing Metal Gear Solid (PS version) on my PS3 and it didn't detect any memory cards so i couldnt save. why is that? shouldn't it do like ps2 games where the hard drive acts like a memory card? can someone help?

You have to create a vritual memory card for PS1 games just like you did for PS2 games. One will be on slot 1, & the other will be on slot 2. So just create a "memory card" for PS1 & you'll be good to go.

I was playing the thing and I was upset my memory card was full so I couldn't save so I had to quit the game to create one. You should be able to create memory cards while in-game

just go buy it, maybe its just me but I prefer having a hard copy. I was lucky enough to get a like new copy off ebay for 12 bucks
