Hey guys just need some opinions, lately I've been playing mostly with my psp cause work's getting heavy and playing consoles takes more time. I beefed up my game getting pirates, monster hunter u, castlevania, little big planet and a 50 bucks card which I used for getting Final Fantasy VII; VIII, Grandia and Hercules (oh the good ol´ days).. So i have a little credit left in my account and I cant decide between getting Final fantasy IX or Final fantasy Tactics, so the question (finally!) is if the psp remake of FFT way better than the psp original? I saw this game for $30 bucks new while the ps one classic is 9.99 so just some opinions on both ver.!

Thanks !

I think they're both great games, but it depends on whether you prefer the traditional Final Fantasy battle system, or a more strategy-oriented change. As I understand it, Final Fantasy IX is more of a return to the series' roots, whereas VII and VIII are something of a newer, more technically impressive entry into the series. If you've just bought two different Final Fantasies, you might want to try something different with Tactics. Next time, you might want to try using the stickied recommendation thread.

Thanks ! but what I was asking is opinions of people who played FF tactics on the ps one and the one remade on the psp, this is why I thought of making this topic instead of using the sticky, I've never played Tactics and just want to know if the remake is way better than the original!

If you are talking about the FFT download, it is the exact game it is on the PSOne. If you are talking about FFT: War of the Lions, it is the same with additions. Here is a review which talks about the differences which might help steer you one direction or the other.

Edit: I only played FFT the original. It is WELL worth 10 bucks. It is quite amazing and will keep you involved for well more than 50-60 hours if you play it like I do.
