Of course it is highly unlikely for a handheld to replace Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. But my question is, How many of you guys (current PSV users) play PS VITA at home? Or do you only play PSV when you are on the go?

The reason for asking this is because I hardly find time for myself to play a game when I am not at home. I am either at University attending lectures, shopping and partying. But Vita is very tempting and I would love to have it, but does it delivers the experience that could make me play this console instead of others?

To be completely honest, the Vita is going to be my primary console. I'm an older gamer (31), and I have 2 kids so I hardly have any time to play games. The Vita and 3DS have become my main systems because I can fire them up and play anytime, any place. So yeah I play my Vita at home while I'm chillin in my recliner or laying on the couch or taking a hardy dump.

The Vita is already my primary console, to be completely honest. I was a hardcore PC gamer before but I've lost interest over the years and don't plan on purchasing or playing many more PC games this year. I already see multiple Vita games I can't wait to play. So yeah, out with PC gaming and in with gaming on the Vita. I don't plan on extensively playing games on anything else. I suppose the Vita will be my last run as a gamer, because after it fades out I think I'm going to call it quits after 15+ years. It's been a great ride and in my opinion there's no better way to top it off than with a phenomenal handheld like this.

Ahhh I guess it just depends on what you have to play on your home consoles, for me I am playing my vita a lot on my couch in front of my TV with my 360 and ps3 sitting there because I want to play Uncharted: Golden Abyss, I really did not have anything to play on my 360/ps3 so I played my vita. In between some of my classes at college I also play Lumines on my vita, so I guess it just depends on what you want to play on your Vita. I personally think the Vita delivers, I liked Golden Abyss, it has issues with the shooting and the fact that enemies seem to take way too many hits. Lumines is great, ditto on Super Star Dust Delta. Assuming you have the money, take a look at the next couple of months, what are going to buy on your Vita/PS3/360? If you think your going to buy a lot of ps3/360 games maybe you dont need a Vita.

Go bored of my PS3, I have a PC Gaming Rig and very happy with the way PC gaming is heading, PS Vita will however take up most of my gaming time, Going to and from uni most days takes about 45 minutes, my Vita is going to make that time feel lime a blur. It feels like a proper gaming handheld one that so far I'm glad on purchasing.

Honestly I have a Wii 360 and a PS3 and ever since I got my 3DS it's been my main focus with the exception a few major releases. Now with the Vita I'm pretty sure Iwill be focusing mostly on handhelds. I really don't have much time to sit at home on the TV and play like before so it's all good for me.

I play it primarily at home. I take it with me to work and play on my breaks, though. I've been in a handheld mood for months now, and I don't remember the last time I turned on a console.

nothing will ever replace my desktop pc, but my vita serves as something to have while out and while I "watch" tv with my wife. Ive always had a ps3 and will play the occasional exclusive while my pc takes the multiplatforms. Still my vita serves me very well since I like to pick up and play everywhere. So my vita isnt my main but its now my second in command.

The Vita and 3DS are my main consoles now. I just don't like feeling constrained at having to have a tv to play a game on a whim.

I want to make vita my primary console, i live with my girlfriend and i like to be able to sit with her and play my games while she is playing her Xbox. Its an added bonus that the social capabilities of the Vita are also better then the PS3/360s. I can see anyone that loves games being able to use it as a primary system in place of a console tbh you just have to give it a shot.
