I have a old ps2 component cable and was trying to use it on my ps3. I can see the image up to 1080i, but there is no sound. Anyone has a clue?

Its a sony brand, and yes I double check the color.

Component video cables are compatible with the PS2/PS3 so check your audio settings and make sure they aren't set to digital out.
