PS2 game saves question for PS3 60gb

Ok so I love my PS3 and the games I have with but I want to play through GT4 again.

Now heres my problem, I want to save the game but it says I need a memory card. How do I make it so the game saves will be on the PS3 hard drive?

In the Game section of the XMB, there should be an option titled "Internal Memory Card" or something like that, click on it and create a PS2 memory card then it will ask you which slot to put it in. Choose slot 1 and you should be all set.
