Few more questions..

How many ps2 gamescan you buy online? All of them? What about ps1 games? Also what regions? Can you play all regions on the ps3? LOL a lot of questions but I been meaning to ask them for a while now :P

It depends on the particular game for global online play. Still not really sure what you're asking though so that might not have answered it.

Thanks for the answers mate. What I meant with the last question was am I able to play all region (pal,NTS,***) region ps1 and ps2 game on my ps3? I am not really intrested in online gaming but if the games are available online. Old ps1 games can't be found in stores anymore.

only ps3 games are region free.

blu ray, dvd, ps2, and ps1 games are still region locked

My brother has Twisted Metal: Black and I wanted to try it out on the PS3 because I never had the network adaptor like he did... I started it up but it told me I couldn't play for I needed network adaptor info from my PS2 memory card. I have wifi set up, why would I be getting a message like this??? can I still play somehow???

you need the PS2 network setup info on your PS2 virtual mem card on your PS3, just go and buy MAdden 03 (it has the online setup on it) for like 5 bucks at eb game if you can't get the disc. Then just setup the online through there and then you'll have to file needed to play online.

There needs to be a Network Configuration File saved onto the virtual memory card you are using when you go online. To set this up you need the PS2 Start-up Disk that came with the network adaptor or some games will take you directly to a screen to set up this file.

That's how the ps2 found your network settings and connection so those games still need to access that file to let you play online.
