PS3 160 version only for North America??

I live in Hong Kong and I'm wondering if anyone know if this system will be released here as well in November?

I am going to get a PS3 soon but I don't want to get one only to have the 160GB one come out like 1 month later

I've just got an email from Sony Asia and they say they have no plans for 160GB .. U_____U
