PS3 2.0 Update

no one knows but sony always come up with updates every 1-3 month , so most likly we will get one before the end of the year.

But no ones knows if it s 2.0 or not

HOME WASN"T DELAYED! THEY NEVER SET A RELEASE DATE! so how could giving a release date that was later than some people expected be called a delay. omg this pisses me off so much when peopl call it a delay.

and second of all, just be it is launching in 08 doesn't mean the firmware team stopped working too, i expect Home will come with 2.40 or somethign like that, and we will be getting 2.0 next month.

I seen a release date on multiple sites that said october something, i forgot. But any way, why is everyone so excited about the 2.0 update when they have no idea what its going to consist of?

With the delay of Home......I think at least until the end of the year! Lets hope for it..rogerjak

I seen a release date on multiple sites that said october something, i forgot. But any way, why is everyone so excited about the 2.0 update when they have no idea what its going to consist of?

Okay, about 2 days after the whole October 11th thing started popping up, SOny officially denied the release date, i have no idea why people thought it was real, there were no fact whatsoever. because 2.00 is supposed to add all the huge features that everyone has been waiting for. just like when the PSP got 2.00, it was a major step up for the handheld.

Yes but now that home is delayed, is not going to be in October...

you dont know that, in fact the firmware team said the most likeyl they would release 2 that day, 1 with home, and 1 without, which means that the firmware is still coming, just not the one with home. LOGIC PREVAIL!!

1st of all they said it would be November sometime in March this year. 2nd of all i seen ina couple of places that home is only delayed in Europe and will still be out this year in the states. i could be wrong so take this with a grain of salt.ravine1

it never had an official release date, so therefor it never got delayed. they just announced the release date is all, and its coming out in 08 everywhere, no staggered launch (well maybe a day or two but that doesn't really count)

Yup, me too..

A good deal of the items on that list have already been implemented. Thats a list from almost 5 months ago as well.

I think a new update will come along with the public beta of HOME.
