since i have both other consoles, ive been looking at the ps3, although i dont usually get all three gameing consoles, the ps3 looks very convincing, with rachet and clank, haze, motorstorm, lair, warhawk, and MGS, and deff any other sony games. however, the price is the only thing that stops my way. so when i heard about the 399 ps3 i was excited, but then again, when i buy a ps3, im going to buy ps2 games, like the jak and sly cooper series, god of war 2, manhunt 2, and etc. so, is the 399 ps3 worth it? should i hurry up and get a 60 gig? should i sell my 360 and run to the store now??

for a hundred bucks more you get an 80 gig harddrive, ps2 backwards compatability, memory card slots which are extremely convenient, I believe it still comes with the Motorstorm game as well which is awesome, and 4 usb ports as opposed to two. I am using three usb ports now, one for the controller charging cable, one for the bluetooth headset charger cable, and one for my 750 gb my book external harddrive. I'll be using the fourth one as soon as I get the PS eye. So IMO, 399 is a great deal for a GREAT system, but the hundred bucks for the upgrade is worth it.

Well if you said yourself your gonna get ps2 games..go with either a 60 or 80. 60 is the best 1 imo. Easily the one with most features and stuff. The HDD is easily upgradable so 60 gigs in comparison to an 80 is no problem..

Go with the 60, come XMAS they wont be here..

If you're gonnaBUYgames (not install them) and not put music/videos on it you should try and find a 20 gig.

It's better than 80 for ps2 b/c and it's only like 380 at gamestop.
