ps3 40 gig???

is this true that they are goin to release a 40 gig for christmas i would really like to pick one up cuz i dont use my consoles for music or movies i use a dvd player and a comp 4 that so does anybody know if this is true and if by chance does anybody know if there are any 20 gig ps3's floating around the net because i was gonna buy one but they stopped making it so...

They haven't announced the 40 gig, so I wouldn't know. I seen a 20 gig on gamestop.com for 449.99.

why would you want a ps3 with 40gbs..? why is sony wasting money making more versions..? you can seriously just change the hdd yourself for few bucks..istylee

its true, but get whatever u can afford, dont make it seem like the PS3 is an iPod and u have to keep getting the 30 60 80GB everytime one comes out

u can replace the hdd for a a few bucks ur self as he said.

btw props to munsoned, wish i could've pulled that off! Although i got my Wii for about $220 or so from a friend who worked at Target, same deal he just bought it and i paid him back, now he works somewhere else so I'm screwed.

Speaking of rumors, does anybody know (within those rumors) if the 40GB PS3 will have any major difference with the 80GB besides the amounts of HDD space? or will ithave similar specs as the 20GB?
