ps3 40g hdd specs..

Who's the manufacturer of ps3's HDD? I've yet to open mine up to look. also, whats the RPM speed of the hdd? I'm looking into upgrding my ps3's drive.

I wonder if one would notice a speed increase w/ a 100g 8meg cache drive spinning @ 7200 rpms?
