Well depends, I got a sixty gig and I'm really happy with it, so if I were you I'd choose memory over picture right now...
As for the game choice depends if you want a action/adveture/platformer game with guns or if you want an action/adventure/platformer game with swords...

Well I played it at a friends and the little bit I played seemed fresh. I really don't know in the longterm however if the game is repetitavie.... it might be. Also assassians creed is different than it seems. However if you want a sword slashing Action/Adventure/RPG go with the elder scrolls 4 oblivion goty edition for the PS3, thats a great game.
If youplan onplaying PS2 games on your PS3, get the 60. Eitherwise, you might as well save yourselfsome money that you could put towards the TVor gamesand get the 40 Gig
As far as Uncharted or Assassin's Creed goes, I'd say go with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune because in my opinion, it has better replay value.
Get a 60 GB, its the best version and will keep you satisfied. As for the games, both are good, I'm getting Assassins Creed for christmas and buying Uncharted with Christmas money so I'd say personally to go with Assassins Creed first.
People say it is repetative, but thats just people nit-picking at the game. It looks to have a whole new concept and game play style.

No, im not planning to play PS2 games! Can you play Uncharted online??? If yes, is it any good?
haha your choices were exactly similar to mine. First off though which 60GB ps3 are you looking at? I won't make an assumption of where you come from, but the american one is better because it has the hardware for playing ps2 games. If it's not the american one, make note that some ps2 games do not play well(supposedly) with the software emulation. There's also the problem of actually finding a place that sells the 60gb new.
When i was looking, the only option i had was the 40gb and 80gb, and given most my ps2 games are in PAL, the 80gb was pointless to me, and so saved money with the 40gb. I've always felt that if i wanted a bigger drive, i could just upgrade sometime in the future.
I had an easier option with regards to the games, they didn't have uncharted here so i went with assassin's creed. So far it is fresh, it feels like a next-gen game, you know not just upgraded graphics. For the most part the game reminds me of MGS, simply because the trying to sneak by guards can get irritating and time consuming, but it is fun. I've only played it for less than 10 hours but it does feel a bit repetitive already. But i think the enjoyance factor balances that out. I can't comment on uncharted, but i did order it from the shop, and should be getting it within the week. It's been getting good praises and so I think gamers should try it out (both games actually). It doesn't matter if you can only get one now, i think both are quality games and so you shouldn't be dissappointed. And then get the other when/if you get the money.
