Is the 40 gb version good as a60 gb version and does it have wifi cause i have a wireless router and what is the diference between the 80gb and 40gb?

Click on the "PS3 FAQ Thread" linked in my sig ... it will tell you everything you need to know about the PS3 before making a purchase ... it's stickied on this forum in order to prevent threads like this one ... please read it first before lazily asking any more questions that have already been answered.

The 40 gb version is just a stripped down version of the 60 gb, just take out the emotion engine, 2 usb slots, flash card readers& u got the 40 gb version of the ps3...to answer ur question Yes the 40 gb does have wifi, the only version of the ps3 that does not have wifi was the 20 gb, which was discontinued

The only real difference between the 80 gb & 40 gb versions are that the 80 gb has the software emulation, 4 usb ports & flash card readers, which the 40 gb does not have...oh yes & of course the hard drive size, but u can always upgrade that yourself
