PS3 60GB - Backwards Compatibility

Hi!

I have been living in the console dolldrums for the best part of 10 years and haven't ever played a PS2 which means I haven't played the other GTA games or the MGS ones.

Yes, yes, I know and I'm sorry! Hahaha

Is there somewhere I can see list of the games that run on the PS3 so that I know which one's to buy?

Or am I just as well buying a PS2?

If you're in the US, then here: http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus ; It's not an actual list, but you can type the name of a title and it will tell you if it works and if there are any issues.

If you're in Europe, then here: http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/; this one is an actual list.

The 60 gig ps3 is like 99.9% compatible with all ps1 and ps2 games. The 80 gig ones are compatible with alot of games (roughly 80% )

I'm in Scotland. Dundee in fact, where the GTA franchise first began. Kind of shocking that I've chosen to neglet the entire series until now eh?

Never played a PS2?!!? Wow. You should definately get Final Fantasy 10, Persona 3 FES, MGS1/2/3, and Devil May Cry.Canvas_Of_Flesh
