Hi i don't know if the PS3 is like the xbox, what i mean is when the PS3 breaks does it have a high chance of breaking again?
I figured you guys would know since google hasn't helped out yet. Haha

Depends.
After I had mine repaired by Sony there was a terrible graphical problem. Sony made a bullcrap excuse to not letting me repair it again so I just got a Slim.
they gave me a 90 day warranty when I got it back from them... makes you wonder about the likelyhood of it breaking again.
[QUOTE="jimm895"]If it's just the disc lens then you may be able to find a repair person close by that could fix the system in a short time for less than it would cost to send it in to Sony.walbeb
He all ready had it repaired i just want to make sure it won't happen again.
I wouldn't really worry about it. The failure rate of the PS3 is very very low when takeing the average of ALL the PS3's sold and the number of failed units.Ive had 1 new disc drive and then YLOD (Where they replaced the motherboard, you dont have to believe me, But i know this cause I know they guy who repaired my PS3) Either way, My PS3 is going strong at the moment, with quicker fan speed increase compared to before my YLOD I have all the faith in the world my PS3 wont encounter a problem again If it does... Ive had such a possitive encounter with Sony support I dont fear if my PS3 does go faulty. Sony Support are excelent to deal with. Hope this view helps :-)Joker1232003
