Obviously the PS3 allows you to upload a PS2 memory card with the adapter you can purchase, however will it let you then upload your data back to a PS2 memory card via the same adapter? If so, does it reformat your card and erase everything that was previously on it? basically I want to play my PS2 games on the HDTV without dragging my ps2 up, however I want to be able to then use the same saves on my PS2. What Id like to do ideally is not download saves to the HDD and just save directly onto the PS2 card from the PS3, but it seems that this is not possible.

you can transfer saves from the ps2 to ps3 and from the ps3 to ps2, and each file individually, so it's all good

The thing about Sony is they allow us to do a lot of things the other system doesn't. With the latest firmware updates if you have a PSP you can access your PS3 from anywhere in your home or from any internet hot spot in the world. On the PS blog there releasing another firmware to allow more thing to be done and shared between these two systems.
