I play usually play for 7 hours at a time but my ps3 is always ice cold like it's in a freezer or something,is this a good thing or a bad thing?The_Solid
well its better the ps3 is cold than hot... just make sure it dosent get so cold it freezes
Most likely a good thing, but my PS3 is always pretty hot even after just an hour or so. And this is the first I've heard of "the yellow light." I'm guessing it's the PS3 version of the Red Ring of Death?
Seems like people are getting edgy about their PS3's, a bit twitchy, wondering if it's going to die on them. Recent threads about hot or cold consoles and too loud or not loud enough noises. A RRo-like paranoia is setting in. By the way, this is a joke fanboys.
you should be happy with that dude. at least it can stay up to 7 hours. i also play 7 hours and sometimes up to 12. and i even passed out when i'm playing. but when i check my console its a lil warm but not alarmingly warm. probably the ventilation on my ps3 is pretty good. hmmm.... anyways dont worry

Not that this is ab-normal because every system I have owned does this after a while. If your game freezes (no pun intended) than that may be a problem.
