I have heard that on the visual side of BC for the ps3, it isnt so asthetically appealing. I have yet to recieve my Ps3, but am anxious to hear what ps3 owners say about this. I've also heard it upscales and smooths them, which adds a cleaner picture. Can you give me a heads up on what to expect?lampoloWell first are you getting the 60g or 20g launch console? IF your not getting one of these 2 dont get excited cause your not going to be able to play your old ps2 games

IF your not getting one of these 2 dont get excited cause your not going to be able to play your old ps2 games The first 80 GB PS3 also played some PS2 games. They took the Emotion Engine out and emulated it in software. The current 80 and 160 GB PS3s don't play PS2 games at all. It is all very confusing. :)
The "A" and "B" model PS3's are becoming more scarce and are not available at retail, which can play PS2 games without emulation (launch 20s and 60s) and play PS2 games with emulation (early 80Gs?).
EDIT: Don't get your hopes up.
