PS3; best for exclusives?

I've heard good things about Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain but also a lot of people say that PS3 has the best exclusive titles of any console so wanted to get some opinions from the people who have played them.

In my opinion, the best PS3 exclusives are by far:

1. God of War III
2. Metal Gear Solid 4
3. Uncharted 2
4. inFAMOUS
5. Little Big Planet

It IS an opinion, but yes the ps3 has much more higher rated exclusives. And of course my opinion is that it has way better exclusives. Some of my favorite games are on PS3. I am quite pleased with the selection.

Wow, some really good stuff here. I think I'm going to look into Demon's Soul's and maybe a couple of others. I think PS3 exclusives must be the best available on a technical basis because they make full use of the PS3's processing power, it's a shame multiplats don't seem to do this.

I agree seeing bioware games on PS3 would be great but I guess MS have got them tied to a pretty good deal. You never know though, with EA now taking charge of Bioware distribution it could happen.

There are only a few 360 exclusives that grab my attention. Gears looks cool, but I've never played it unfortunately. Halo Reach looks pretty awesome from the trailers, but it probably will just end up being Halo with jetpacks. There are some pretty cool XBLA games, but other than that I wouldn't care too much for the exclusives.

PS3's are usually really good. Of course there will be the occasional flop (Lair, Haze, White Knite Chronicles) but overall they're really good. Most get average reviews up in the 9s.

Pretty much every game on the Wii is an exclusive, but the only ones I care about are the first-party ones made by Nintendo. I'll buy the next Mario, Zelda, and Metroid games, but other than that I don't even bother looking at anything related to the Wii.

I can't help but think this would be a topic more suited for System Wars... :?

I agree with you man because PS3 is all about action advanture and some RPG stuff but Xbox 360 just gets better online games like gears of war will kill all of the shooting game out there but PS3 have more games to play now Love God of war3 uncharted 2.

Dragon Age is a BioWare game and it was on PS3 along with it's expansion. No timed exclusivity or anything.

Dragon Age and the EA buyout is the main reason there is pretty good hope to see Mass Effect on PS3. It's not really XBOX "exclusive" per se anyway, because it's also been available on PC.

I think so myself. I think it used to be Nintendo that had all the great exclusives, but with the ps2 and particularlly the ps3, they now have a wide selection of games available exclusively for their console.

Their's not many. Metal Gear Soild 4, Uncharted 1 and 2, Killzone 2, ImFamous, Valkyria Chronicles, Yakuza 3, God of War 3, Flower.

I know Final Fantasy Versus 13 is coming out.

1. Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, MGS4, inFamous, Demon's Souls, GOW3, Heavy Rain, LBP, Resistance 1 & 2, and GT5P (I've played and enjoyed all those)

I'll say Heavenly Sword (when it came out), MGS4 (the optic camo was flat out impressive), Killzone 2, Heavy Rain, and soon GT5 are every bit as technically brilliant as Uncharted 2 in their own right.

Read my post again. Where did I bash 360? I just listed the best exclusive games for PS3, then the games that I would consider to be ported to PS3. Wasn't that what this topic is about? Some of them are interesting to me (Halo, of which I played plenty of Halo 1 and 2), some aren't interesting to me at all and look horribly overrated(Gears). Mass Effect is the only one that's realistically going to be ported and that's a game I'm dying for.

In fact I'll very likely also be GETTING a 360 when/if the XBOX slim is released this year. However I've been looking to upgrading/building a new PC and if I did that in the next 6 months I would be far less likely to get a 360 since most of the exclusives I'm interested in that I'm missing are also available on PC. In that scenario I would be buying a console mostly just for Halo: Reach and Alan Wake and i'm not sure that's worth it - so I'm thinking I'd need a price cut along when the 360 slim comes out.

I have a Wii as well and I didn't go bashing that console, even though as an owner the Wii is almost dead to me (save for Metroid Other M, and SMG2 and an odd game here and there)
