Bioshock is definitely worth $30, but I would think you could find it for cheaper than that. As far as the game goes, I loved it. If you like FPS style games or if you have any interest in the 30's to 40's time period, you will more than likely enjoy the game. It has moderate re-playability with two ways to play the game and two separate endings. Personally, I felt that the art and the atmosphere really made the game.
SHEEEEIT I bought if for 60 the week it came out and it was worth it. buy it, now. Word of advice though, if your one to use guides refrain from using any of them for this game until after youve beaten it at least once, because the story is such a centrivocal part to the game it is nigh impossible for any guide to not ruin something for you, i had to find out the hard way. Oh and dont look at any trophy lists because there are secret trophies that really spoil stuff for you.
