So I'm looking into getting a webcam for my computer, and since I have a PS3, I'd like to get one that's compatible with it in case some day something comes out for the PS3 that would seem cool to have it for. So I'm wondering if I buy Sony's PS3 cam if it will work with my computer or if I buy a USB cam for my computer if it will work with my PS3? Anyone have any experience with this?

i tried my ps eye with my computer and nothing happened. i suppose it doesnt work with a PC

I tried my eyetoy on my pc when I first got it, with the eoj bundle, and it wouldn't work. The general opinion back then was that "somone will eventually make it work" From what I undestood, somebody just needs to write a prgram for it. I suggest a Google search...

I use an $18 Logitech Webcam C120m. Bought it at Walmart for my pc, but plugged it into usb on ps3 and works good. Frame rate is slower than the PS3 Eye and resolution is slightly lacking, but works great for much cheaper than sony's cam.
